Also available in 3-disc set with "Fantasia 2000" and bonus features disc: The Fantasia Anthology (also out-of-print). WARNING: The "Fantasia" cover art advertises itself as "uncut" and the "original" version. However, the stand-alone DVD and the version in the boxed set are both censored versions which try to remove African-American characters from the film by zooming in on the white characters and producing a grainy picture for a few seconds of the film. Please be aware of this censorship when purchasing the DVD.

Golden Age Cartoons RecommendedIn Walt Disney's first "package" feature, we get a behind-the-scenes look at how things work at the Walt Disney Studio, with various animated featurettes (including the exclusive Goofy cartoon "How To Ride A Horse"). Victory Through Air Power

DVD - Out of Print

This rare 1943 wartime film is now available for the first time on home video in the "Walt Disney on the Front Lines" DVD set of the "Walt Disney Treasures" DVD series. This film was released by United Artists, because RKO didn't want to release it. This film, about the importance of using air power to win a war, includes animated segments such as a humorous take on the history of aviation. A must for any serious Disney fan or anyone interested in World War II.

Make Mine Music

Make Mine Music

DVD

A DVD in the "Gold Collection" series. This package feature from 1946 is sometimes known as the "lesser sequel to Fantasia." There are nine musical featurettes presented in the film on this DVD (with one segment edited out), and three bonus cartoons: "Music Land," "The Band Concert," and "Farmyard Symphony." WARNING: The DVD and VHS version of this film edits out one of the ten segments in the original film, "The Martins and McCoys." The only plausible reason that this segment was edited out is that some hillbillies may find it offensive. We don't recommend this disc unless you can get it at a heavily discounted price.
